zikzak mix 8 - krautrock

hey everyone

there isn’t a ton to say about this particular mix. Krautrock! everyone knows it and loves it (well most people anyway)

Its obviously pretty diverse with a lot of different styles within that big umbrella

I suppose out of all the niche genres out there, Krautrock is the one i know the most about. I have been listening to this stuff since the mid 80’s and over the years i have collected quite a bit of it

gonna let the mix do the talking here. I wanted to go deep in terms of tracks but not so deep as to loose quality. There is a lot out there and while the good stuff is very good indeed, the bad stuff is abundant, so i needed to keep it tight

I really went for it in terms of length. This one is 5 hours!

It would have been easy to make it much longer because of the sheer amount of good stuff on tap.

There are a few bands/artists that didn’t make the cut and that’s pretty much because i went where the music took me. I wanted this to be a really pleasant listen and have it run continuously
