Hey all. Back with a new mix. Took a little longer than I wanted but that seems like that’s par for the course nowadays.
This mix follows in the tradition of the previous mix “Daddy Was A Polyphonic Prayer” in that its going all over the place in terms of style and it was my job to find a common thread that bound all the tracks together. I hope i accomplished that. I find it to be a really enjoyable listen that has some cool surprises.
We have some British folk, French chanson, hippie guitar noodling, some weird soundscape stuff, a sad swede, and possibly the first ever acid house track from 1982. Crazy right?
its a free download as usual and if you want to stream it, you can below.
I will be deleting the download after a week so if you want it, go get it. As I mentioned in the previous post, i like the idea of keeping these mixes as something you can return to, like you would an album. I’m not big on “content” so its important to me that if i make something to share with you it has some value for future use. That’s the plan anyway.
No track list (it adds an air of mystery :-)
I suppose that’s gatekeeping but its very poor gatekeeping to be sure. It can be kicked open by simply asking me for the track list in the comments and I will send it over to you
Enjoy!
I love the mix! Would you mind sharing the track list?
Thanks- I've only dipped into the mix but such a lovely start
